Sir's Sickle Cell Fight

Sir Donovan, is a 12 year old vibrant and brave little fellow, that has been putting forth his greatest efforts against the fight of Sickle Cell Anemia.  I have been consistently following Sir’s fight with Sickle Cell, while thinking of a way to help Sir as much as I possibly can. I came up with the idea of creating a GoFundme in hopes of our community banding together to show our support because It has recently become a blatantly catastrophic time for him and his mother both.  On July 15, 2017, Sir Donovan Green, was at a Sunday School Convention in Orlando, when he experienced a series of unexplainable events that caused him to display periods of unresponsiveness and combative behavior. He was rushed to a nearby facility, Florida Hospital for Children, and immediately admitted into ICU. After being subjected to a series of test, it was determined that Sir had suffered a hemorrhage (an escape of blood from a ruptured blood vessel), which was the source of his recent body failures. Sir also encountered multiple strokes during his stay at Florida Hospital for Children, which left the right side of his body partially immobile.  An Angiogram was done to identify the area of concern and it was determined that an Arterial bypass was needed to prevent more stroke activity and to restore the blood flow to Sir’s brain. He has since been transported closer to home, Tampa General Hospital, where the bypass was strategically and successfully placed on August 9, 2017. Now he is on the road to recovery, however, the road just happens to be a little rocky and rough. Sir attends 4 therapies a day, will have copious doctor appointments, numerous medications and will be required to be home-schooled for an extended period. This is why I am pleading for us all to pitch in. Throughout his rehabilitation, Sir is unable to physically attend a school like other children. There are specific supplies that are needed for home schooling that Sir will need access to, for example, a fully functional computer.  Also, it would be great to see Sir enjoy life a little so I hope that enough is donated that Sir will get the chance to do whatever his little heart desires. My target goal is $2,000 but I’m really hoping that love will conquer all and Sir Donovan be blessed with much more than the goal I’ve set. Let’s band together for a greater cause and show this family some real compassion.  This is totally legitimate and all proceeds will go to Sir and all of his needs.  Thank you all in advance for your kind donations.
