Sinong is an amazing, hardworking, loving mother, wife, daughter, co-worker, who was diagnosed in September 2012 with Stage 3 Lobular Carcinoma Non-Invasive Breast Cancer which turned her world upside down. She had 20 weeks of aggressive chemotherapy, followed by a mastectomy and radiation treatment. She then had implants only to be diagnosed with an infection, which lead to another invasive operation. Success!
5 years later Dana Faber diagnosed her with Stage 4 HR2 breast cancer which had metastasize to her bones, spine and liver. She once again is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy in hopes to control the cancer cells from growing. She travels each week to Boston for treatments and she attempts to work full time, even during illness because she needs to maintain insurance and household expenses. She also has suffered loss of wages, increased medical expenses, all of which negatively has effected her life savings and caring for her family (two children).
As friends of Sinong, we feel her pain and suffering. Nobody deserves to deal with this disease, nonetheless, destroying her dreams. We are asking for any type of contribution to aide her in this difficult journey challenging cancer and give her a peace of mind to assist her in paying her medical and travel expenses.
To know her, is to love her! She is giving, loving, loyal and is always there to help others...now it's our turn to help her.
