Single Mother Stranded in Hawaii with Kids

URGENT EMERGENCY!

This is going to need action along with prayers, but I’ll start off with asking for all prayer warriors to get them going.

The other night, as my family was driving home from a full day of Christmas fun, treating our kids, an $85 meal; we were nearly brought to our knees in humility when I received a message from a friend simply asking for prayers without going into too much detail.

Guys, a friend is stranded as a single mother with four children on an island. She has been beaten and she and her children have been left to starve. Originally from the Midwest, they have nowhere to go. Nowhere to turn. She wants to get back home, Josh and I are working on that currently, but it may be awhile. She walked two miles just to get some kind of water today. We floated what we could (thank GOD for technology) to put a LITTLE nutrients into her children’s bodies..

Christmas is non-existent for these kids this year. They are homeless. They have no electricity and no gas for their generator. They are living off catch water. They are by foot everywhere they go. Their little worlds have been completely turned upside down. 

I cannot rest until I have some kind of relief. Some kind of direction as to how to get the ball rolling to help this family. As a Mother, Lord I couldn’t imagine what she’s going through.

Again, homeless, abused, thousands of miles from her home with no friends or family, and worried about so much, while she tries to scrounge money to feed her kids, catch water to drink, find gas money for a generator, and figure out where they’re gonna go for shelter (I’m not playing) every night. They are also by foot everywhere they go.
