Single Mother of 3 Having 4th Brain Surgery

On November 5, Jenn was admitted to the hospital to have emergency surgery to remove a brain shunt. After that surgery was completed, tests were run on her shunt to determine what type of infection she had. The tests revealed that she had an extreme staph infection. They initially thought the infection was superficial, but after running tests, they determined that the infection was internal as well. 

She is currently in the Neuro ICU in critical but stable condition. She will remain there until her infection is cleared enough for surgery - then they will place a new shunt again. 


Jenn has been an absolute warrior in thisfight. She has knocked down every obstaclein in her way and keeps fighting every day. Another obstacle that she is facing now is not being able to cover monthly expenses. As a single mother of 3, being able to work is crucial. At this point, Jenn has exhausted all of her accrued Paid Time Offand is still looking at multiple weeks of recovery.
