Children lose only parent to breast cancer.

Donation protected
Our family suffered a tremendous tragedy this year with the loss of Tex’s sister Kari.  Kari was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at 38 and lost her battle at only 41.

Kari was an amazing woman. She was courageous, optimistic, and super loving.

She was a single mother. She left behind two children,  my niece 18, and my nephew 12.

I debated creating this “go fund me” for a while. I didn’t want to embarrass her children. They’ve gone through more than enough pain in this lifetime.

But the truth is Cancer is horrible!!! Kari wasn’t able to work because stage 4 cancer is demobilizing.  She did leave her children with memories of an amazing, warm, kindhearted,  mother, but there was no inheritance, or insurance pay out.

My niece is wonderful. She is hard working, and she is putting herself through nursing school. My nephew is a sweetheart. He is being raised by his grandma who is on disability due to medical issues .

This is the first Christmas they’ll be without their mom and we can’t imagine what it is like for them.

These are great kids. They haven’t asked for anything, but they could really use it.

Any money donated would be given directly to them for basic necessities.

I’m very fortunate in many ways. When something like this happens, especially so close to home it really makes you count your blessings. If you can’t afforded to donate Please share this post!

Thank you for taking the time to read  this, and  have a Merry Christmas!
