Single mom doesn't deserve to lose her car

Hi, everyone. I had the chance to meet a fantastic single mom and her hilarious and wonderful daughter last year while touring Mae Sai, Thailand. Pam was kind enough to help me visit some temples and get across the border to Burma (and back). Her daughter frequently accompanied us and had me laughing non-stop.

Pam works as a teacher and unfortunately has lost her job due to the Coronavirus pandemic
. That has caused some extreme hardship for her as she is now quarantined. Things have been tough. Her father passed away late last year and she takes care of her mother. This is a dedicated woman who works hard for her family.

Did I mention her ex bailed and pays ZERO child support? What a guy. :-(

As of right now Pam cannot make her car payment. It is due April 10. She won't get her job back until sometime in May. That means she will be forced to sell her car because the Thai people are not receiving any help to get through this pandemic.  Right now she is choosing food and utilities for her family over her car and that is understandable.

The quarantine and job loss are temporary. If she can just get through the next two months she will be fine. Pam bought the car so that she would not have to take her daughter to school via a motorbike. They are dangerous and crashes resulting in death are frequent. I hate the thought of it Pam losing this car and therefore the ability to give safety to her little girl.

I know there are sob stories out there, but I know this woman and her daughter. They are for real. They asked nothing from me when I met them and were so giving it breaks my heart that they are now in this position.

I want to help Pam and am asking for your help. Her car payment is just $187 per month. Two car payments would be $375.

Without this help two years of car payments are down the toilet. That would be heartbreaking.

Please lend her a hand. I will give the first $25 and the last $25. That leaves just $325.

This goal is easy! Twenty-one people giving $15 each would nail it. Or thirty-three people giving just $10. It won't take much!

Pam is a proud woman. She doesn't want help and did not ask for it. She just wants to go back to work. And she will! This will not last forever. Unfortunately we all have to get through this.

Please help me get Pam and her daughter through this.

$10 is just two coffees from Starbucks.  I will gladly skip Starbucks to help this single mom keep her car.
