Single mom needing assistance for her son

Hey everyone! As you all may know my son has been living with his father for the past few years, but because of recent events he is no longer able to stay with him! My son and his father have come to a conclusion that they are incapable of living under the same roof. I am extremely happy to have my baby boy back home but due to the manner in which this agreement has come about my son was left without ANYTHING! He was dropped off at my home with ONLY the clothes on his back (a t-shirt, a pair of basketball shorts and some flip flops)! He wasn’t even allowed to bring his much needed glasses, cell phone, hygiene necessities etc.! I have been trying to recover, as many of us have, from the lack of hours and or pay due to covid and I am in dire straits trying to provide for my son in his time of need at the moment! There is no other feeling than to feel, as a parent, less than because your child needs and you are otherwise incapable of providing. I am not one to ask for help but as I said it’s not for me so I have to swallow all pride and ask for my son! He is feeling really low at this point and frustrated at the situation and anything I can do to lift his spirits is a job I’ll gladly work! Please if you can help we’d appreciate it and if you cannot we thank you anyway for your thoughts and your prayers! My son said to me, “I guess this is what it feels like if someone loses everything in a fire or is evicted from their home!” He doesn’t know the lengths of this earth I’d go for him not to feel this way again! He lost everything including the home he has lived in for years. Not to mention the relationship of a father and son. He doesn’t even have his tablet to continue his schooling. I am broken hearted for my child but I know everything happens for a reason and I will make sure he is kept of track! We love all of you guys individually and collectively and thank you in advance for any assistance put on your heart to give! God’s got us all ALWAYS! Thank you!
