Single Mom Lost Home in Oregon Wild Fires
Donation protected
Yesterday September 8th, 2020, we received alarming news from a dear friend and single Mother on her Social media .
“Evacuating. Fires are surrounding and winds are insane. Hard to breathe. My son can't get home because they closed the roads. Power is off at most of my neighbors. So if you don't hear from me for awhile, I'm ok, but this is bad. Thoughts and prayers for all affected.
Update 1: power went out. Police forced us out. Got all the animals. Stuck in evac traffic currently. All safe but only grabbed a small bag each.”
By morning the next day she had learned that their home was gone. With the main priority being the safety of her children (and pets), Jennifer had evacuated quickly and only packed the bare minimum, so she quite literally has no more than the clothes/items that she left with. Not only is she going to need help with finding a temporary place to live but she is also going to need help with long term living conditions. Not only a home but also the basic essentials for herself and children to start all over in life.
Jennifer is a loving hardworking Mother who is not only balancing a job and a household, but she is also motivated to put herself through school for a higher education. If you can imagine life for her on a day to day basis....I am sure you can only fathom the devastation this has caused herself and family.
Jennifer is not only a great Mom but she also a beautiful person inside and out. She will go out of her way to help anyone in need with whatever means she has to give. She is a pillar of a woman!
Please find it in your hearts to help with as much or as little as you can. If you cannot help fiscally, PLEASE share this gofundme with as many people as you can. Every bit helps. Big or small.
