<div>My name is Tawnya. I am a single mom with 4 kiddos, 2 older and 2 younger. Being a mom is my favorite title to be. I have a lot of titles, as I have supervised a skin cancer surgery center for the past 13 years, and been a mom for almost 23 years. I know, you say, “You don’t look old enough to have a 23-year-old.” Well, I’m not. I’ve been on my own since I was 15 years old after finding out I was pregnant. I’ve done well with holding my own up until this point. I’m not one to ask for help, so for me to be typing this right now is killing me. But I’m at a loss. I’ve had a few major things come up this year that have put me behind in a bad way. <strong>Divorce is one of them. Going from 2 incomes to 1 is never easy, especially without help from the person who took everything from me. Money. Credit. My soul.</strong> I’ve been in therapy since January and with that, I’m gaining strength. Then I got hit with an unexpected surgery after finding a 2.8 cm mass in my uterus. A full hysterectomy was performed, and thankfully no cancer was found. But with that, I was out of work for 8 weeks without pay. My whole life, I’ve always been able to “figure it out,” but this time, I need a little help. <strong>I’m behind on my mortgage. I’ve drained my savings. And now that I’m back to work, it’s so stressful to catch back up.</strong>

<div>When people see me breaking down, they say, “You are the strongest person I know.” But even the strong get weak.
