Single Mom and her 4 Kids Rebuild after a Fire.

Tax deductible
We'd like to introduce you to a single mom, Miss M_ _ _ _ _ R _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. She was one of our 61 December essential items recipients. We did not know it, at the time, but she came in an Uber to pick up her items as she does not currently have a vehicle of her own. Unfortunately, her items were not ready for her to pick up at the event. Since we did not want her to wait, Unstoppable Extended Hands (UEH) made a special delivery to her and the kids the next day.

We had not met this single mom before, but she was a pleasure to meet! UEH, then, found out that she was displaced, because of a house fire in October in which she lost everything. She states “I have four children; I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and lupus. I just got a job. I'm just trying to get my life back together!”

Thankfully, Miss M_ _ _ _ _ has received notice that she has been approved for a Section 8 rental property, however, she does not have the deposit needed. She started asking individuals to assist her and now only needs 550.00 for the security deposit.

She recently started a temp job with a great company and is very excited. Over Christmas break, though, she had to stay home with her 4 school-age kids which resulted in a loss of income and is currently playing catch up, which we know never happens on minimum wage.

UEH is asking you to join us, not only to help to get the $550 security deposit, (which UEH will pay directly to the property management company) but to extend a little more and get the single mom and kids some furniture. This will include beds for the kids and mom, living room furniture and kitchen table and chairs). They will also need sheets, comforters, towels, food, pots and pans, various kitchen items, hygiene products, and a laptop (because we all know a laptop is an essential item today).

Every little bit counts, and we are so grateful that you continue to be the hands that make the work light.

Thanks in advance,
