Single Father Involved In Bad Motorcycle Accident

Today, one of my best friends and brothers was in a horrific motorcycle accident. Zach Dole was riding his motorcycle down one of the main streets in our town, when a large pickup truck towing a trailer turned to pull into the gas station, directly cutting Zach off. Many witnesses say they saw the truck turn without looking, cutting Zach off as he was traveling at the speed limit (35mph),  providing him no time to course correct or brake before impacting the trailer. 

Zach was thrown from his bike, colliding with the trailer and truck at full speed. Zach sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident, to the extent that he had to be life-flighted to a larger hospital due to our local hospital being unable to address the amount of damage he sustained. 

When the ambulance arrived,  Zach was passing in-and-out of consciousness due to the immense pain he was experiencing. One of the main injuries Zach received, aside from the multiple contusions, lacerations, and broken bones - was massive damage to one of his legs/knee. Our local hospital gave Zach a couple blood transfusions before he was life-flighted to Spokane.

When Zach arrived at the larger hospital, he had to be given numerous blood transfusions due to the large quantity of blood he had lost in-transit. 

The doctors say he has such extensive damage, that they are unsure of whether they will be able to save his leg or not. :( The good news is, they do see blood flow to his foot - so there is a chance for recovery. 

The doctors also began replacing one of his knees tonight, which is an extensive operation that tends to cost 10's of thousands of dollars. This is a financial burden that is more than most people can afford, let alone a single father who will likely be out of work for the foreseeable future, while he recovers.

Zach has a beautiful young daughter that will need our community's help to ensure she has a bright future. I am making this Go-Fund Me, in the hopes that her father will not be strapped with the overwhelming cost of medical bills, while he spends the next many months, if not years, recovering. 

Please help us, help them. 

I will be updating this description in the near future with the cost of all the operations that have been done, or will need to be done at the hospital.
