On a personal note, I wouldn't be here without the incredible research this charity undertakes. Sadly, too many of my dearest friends and family have been affected, or have died before their time, from cancer. I am hoping that, with our donations, we will head towards a time when cancer will be a chronic illness and not one that you are 'lucky' to survive, or a 'battle' that is too often lost.
