Our mission
The Sincop8ed Noize Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support, promote and develop Canada’s emerging musicians through events and educational activities.
Who we are
We are passionate industry professionals and music fans. Our team of volunteers is made up of musicians, music business instructors and marketing specialists who work together to support and promote the arts.
Here is how we will be using the fund.
Program Support
The fund will be used to support our programs so we can continue to deliver the following events for FREE:
- Music Industry Talks: Weekly live-streamed webinar series where we interview artists and other industry professionals about their projects, the current state of the music industry, marketing tactics, life experiences, advice, and other relevant topics in a fun and open conversation.
- Rockalypse Music Workshops: Workshops that focus on the business side of the music industry. They are designed to empower independent musicians by providing music business knowledge that helps them advance in their career. At the workshops, our speakers do presentations and teach specific topics or areas of the music business. The Rockalypse music workshops are usually held at Long & McQuade Montreal-north, but are currently being held virtually.
COVID-19 Support
A portion of donations after we reach $1,000, will go toward supporting a Montreal band that has been affected by tour cancellations and is facing revenue loss due to the COVID-19 (conditions apply and proof will be required, more info will be provided once applications are open).

The fund will also be used to:
- Help the Foundation fulfill its mission
- Help cover a portion of our operational and marketing costs
- Help us create articles and other FREE resources for musicians
- Contribute to the Rockalypse Tour budget for our showcase's winning band in May 2021
- Help the Foundation create more educational programs for musicians and opportunities to connect with professionals
