 THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED SO FAR - THE SUPPORT WE HAVE RECEIVED HAS BEEN SO OVERWHELMING - WE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT WE WOULD GET THE £5000 WE INITIALLY ASKED FOR - SO,  WE HAVE INCREASED THE GOAL TO £10,000 (Still not close to the total cost of damage) THIS ALONG WITH THE FUNDRAISER ON DEC 13TH (Watch this space & the DISPLACE page on Facebook) WE SHOULD ALMOST BE ABLE TO COVER MOST OF THE DAMAGES!!

In the Sheffield floods 2 weeks ago, we were hit very very badly.  With the collective lockup space that houses all of Sinai      soundsystem, Raze soundsystem & DEM Audio being almost fully under water. The river water rose to almost 4 foot inside the lockup, rising above tables  and desks and fully submerging many speaker boxes and amp racks, causing tens of thousands of pounds of damage .  

Because of this we have had to cancel many gigs. And are still in the process of trying to rebuild and repair the sound systems to what they once were. As much as we are putting on a brave face and struggling on, pulling all the strings and stops and short term loans out to make as many gigs and events still happen, we are looking at a mammoth repair bill to return to the point we will be able  to continue supplying the UK & Europe with music experiences through soundsystem culture. We have put the goal at a "moderate" £5k even tho the costs will be much higher than this, as its our duty to deal with our own problems, but at the same time, without YOUR support there is a good chance we might never recover fully from this issue, as many one-off and custom pieces of gear have been irreparably damaged.
