SIMPSON DESERT 2.0 RUN FOR A CURE

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am taking on the Simpson Desert again this year to raise money for an awesome charity for Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. Last year the running group raised over $165000 dollars, and we hope to surpass that figure this year. As you may be aware, children who are afflicted with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes have it for life, and at this stage this desease is NOT cureable yet. However, with events like this and many others along with our efforts and your wonderful donations we can work together towards change.

Last year my attempt to complete this feat was hampered with a severe case of gastro and heat stroke requireing me to be on a IV line for 6 hours.

But now I have come back stronger with already 4 months of training and dieting on the way.

The Simpson desert race consists of a 250km multi-stage running race across some of the most beautiful lanscapes in Australia as well as being some of the most ruggered and brutely challenging enviroments.

Day 1: 42.2km
Day 2: 42.2km
Day 3: 42.5km
Day 4: 30.4km
Day 5: 84km
Day 6: 8.7km

Any contributions will be amazing and greatly appreciated.
