Simon (and Orin) are sick

Hi, this is Orin. If you’ve ever met my cat Simon, you know how special and rare and cool he is and how much I love him. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer* and simultaneously, Simon has become ill. While waiting on my own diagnosis, I’ve spent thousands on Simon’s tests, medicines, and vet bills. Today, three days after my biopsy results showed DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ), I got hit with a $3124.50 estimate for Simon’s next battery of tests and treatments.

My sweet boy is sick, I need him by my side right now, and I can’t bear the idea of denying him treatment. I will need every penny of my savings for my own, which is why I’m asking for help. This is a terrible time of year to be asking for money, so please only donate if you really really can.

The money will go directly to Simon’s next bill, plus the follow up appointment with his primary vet.
