<div>Hätte mir jemand vor einer Woche gesagt, dass ich hier einen Spendenaufruf starten würde, ich hätte es nicht geglaubt – genauso wenig, wie dass ein Kindheitstraum plötzlich Wirklichkeit wird : einmal ein kleines Kätzchen finden und ihm helfen wieder auf die Beine zu kommen.

<div>Am Donnerstagmorgen machte ich mich wie gewohnt auf den Weg zu meiner Ausbildung zur Ergotherapeutin. Die Sonne schien endlich wieder , ich war ausnahmsweise mal pünktlich unterwegs – bis mein Blick plötzlich an einem kleinen roten Fellhaufen am Straßenrand hängen blieb. Erst nach ein paar Sekunden realisierte ich: Das war ein winziges Kätzchen.

<div>Ich hielt sofort an, rannte zu ihm – und für einen Moment dachte ich, das kleine rote Kätzchen sei schon tot. Doch dann bewegte er sich schwankend in Richtung Graben. Mit meinem Pullover hob ich ihn behutsam auf und fuhr nicht zur Schule, sondern direkt zum Tierarzt.

<div>Dort stellte man Katzenschnupfen, eine große Kopfverletzung (mit Fliegeneiern), Untergewicht und Flöhe fest. Leider wurde sein Zustand falsch eingeschätzt und er bekam viel zu wenig Medikamente mit. Über Nacht verschlechterte sich alles dramatisch: Simba konnte nicht mehr laufen, sein Köpfchen nicht mehr heben, er trank und fraß nichts mehr.

<div>Am nächsten Morgen brachte ich ihn sofort in eine größere Tierarztpraxis. Dort stellte man ein schweres Schädel-Hirn-Trauma fest, starke Dehydrierung und akute Lebensgefahr. Simba wurde übers Wochenende stationär aufgenommen. Doch er kämpfte und bekam mit jeder Stunde dort, etwas von seiner Kraft zurück – und er schnurrt jedes Mal voller Dankbarkeit, selbst wenn er medizinisch versorgt wird.

<div>Jetzt ist Simba stabil genug, um wieder bei mir zu sein, auch wenn seine Zukunft noch ungewiss bleibt. Wir geben ihn nicht auf! Mit viel Geduld, Liebe, Zeit – und leider auch hohen Tierarztkosten – wollen wir ihm die Chance auf ein glückliches Leben geben.

<div>Da ich diesen Weg nicht geplant habe und die Kosten für die stationäre Behandlung enorm sind, wäre ich über jede finanzielle Unterstützung unglaublich dankbar. Auch das Teilen von Simbas Geschichte hilft uns sehr.
