"Silver Screen Reimagined" is a capital campaign created by Backstage Rialto, the non-profit partner of the Rialto Theater in partnership with the Rialto Theater.
This campaign aims to raise $25,000 toward the purchase of a state-of-the-art video wall, which together with a matching donation by the Rialto Theater and the City of Loveland, will achieve an overall goal of $50,000.
Over the past two years, the Rialto Theater and its many users had the good fortune of using a video wall generously provided by a rental partner. The 16’ by 10’ HD screen allows images and videos to be a brilliant backdrop for on-stage performances. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the partner no longer utilizes the Rialto and will remove their equipment in the coming months.
In those two years, the video wall served as an integral part of our production capabilities. Virtually every event produced in the Theater over that time relied on the screen to support their performance. As such, it is difficult to see a future without having this capability in place.
The Rialto Theater and Backstage Rialto invite you to help us raise funds to purchase a used video wall, which costs $30,000. 100% of your contributions will support the purchase of this wonderful technology. The City of Loveland will match every dollar raised, truly making this a partnership with the community. If we reach our max goal, the additional funds will go towards installing an exterior neon Rialto sign ($15,000) and lobby upgrades to our concessions and bar area ($5,000)
