En Louly Sindiane (Senegal), la comunidad educativa está volcada en mejorar el futuro de sus niños y niñas. Padres, madres, profesores, profesoras, alumnos y alumnas apostaron por un proyecto piloto de preescolar que hoy es realidad: la primera <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/Wc5iyRvS6Woo1yzKAtarget=_blankrel=noreferrer" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">escuela maternal de Louly Sindiane</a>. Así, para iniciar el próximo curso en condiciones necesitamos tu ayuda para que los "tout petits" (los más pequeños de 3, 4 y 5 años) tengan algo de mobiliario y material. 
 
DE PRUEBA PILOTO A ESCUELA OFICIAL 

A principios del curso 2023/24 Malick, el director de <a href="https://caminasenegal.org/educacion/target=_blankrel=noreferrer" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">la escuela elemental</a>, quiso iniciar un espacio de preescolar para que los niños y niñas de 3 a 5 años pudieran formarse e iniciar la primaria con una base sólida. Fueron 12 niños y niñas que, con recursos muy limitados cursaron su primera experiencia de aprendizaje. 
 
Al curso siguiente, la respuesta de las familias fue increíble y gracias al <a href="https://caminasenegal.org/quan-la-magia-existeix-cuando-la-magia-existe-ganamos-un-premio/target=_blankrel=noreferrer" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">primer premio de Prensa Comarcal a la Solidaridad </a>que ganamos, pudimos pagar más dignamente a una profesora y a su ayudante. El proyecto creció a 38 alumnos y alumnas, la comunidad empezó a creer en él y gracias al esfuerzo compartido este curso 25/26, el gobierno de Senegal ha oficializado la escuela maternal de Louly Sindiane, convocando dos plazas públicas para profesoras y prometiendo construir una aula nueva. Con una previsión de 50 "tout petits", la demanda ha superado todas las expectativas. 
 
¿QUÉ NECESITAMOS AHORA? 

Aunque la escuela ya es oficial, le faltan los elementos más básicos. Hemos adecuado un aula con lo que hemos podido, pero los niños y niñas necesitan un espacio digno y adaptado.
