Nirvana Project Organization Corp. es un proyecto comunitario sin fines de lucro 501 (c) (3), al servicio del área del sur de la Florida. Nuestro evento de lanzamiento se llevó a cabo en noviembre de 2017, este evento fue seguido de numerosos comentarios positivos de nuestra comunidad que despertó el interés de muchas personas y atletas interesados en participar como miembros de nuestro equipo y apoyar nuestra misión.
La misión de Nirvana Project es promover una vida sana y activa a través de la integración e inclusión de personas con discapacidades físicas, sus familias y amigos en el deporte de correr de 5k, maratones y triatlones.
Las sillas de ruedas apropiadas para participar en los eventos de carrera son obligatorias por seguridad, pero su costo es inalcanzable para la mayoría de las personas sin un seguro adecuado o apoyo financiero.
Como organización nueva, no podemos proporcionar las sillas de ruedas deportivas adecuadas a nuestros miembros para participar de manera continua y segura en los eventos programados en nuestra agenda.
Desde nuestro evento inicial, hemos reclutado 13 atletas con alguna discapacidad que incluyen atletas con amputaciones, lesionados medulares y niños en silla de ruedas que aman los deportes y otros miembros que han mejorado sus habilidades utilizando el deporte de las carreras como parte de sus terapias para un mejor estilo de vida.
Por eso hoy te pedimos desde el fondo de nuestros corazones, que te unas a nuestra misión, apoyándonos para recaudar dinero para comprar sillas de ruedas deportivas para nuestro equipo.

Nirvana Project Organization Corp. is a recently formed Non-Profit organization 501 (c)(3) going through its early stages serving the South Florida area.
Nirvana Project’s mission is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle through the integration and Inclusion of individuals with physical disabilities into the sport of Running; We invite these extraordinary athletes, their friends & families to join us on each race we participate from 5k to Marathons. Volunteer runners with or without experience are welcome to join us and push the wheelchairs along the course of the race.
Our first race took place on November 2017, this showcase ensued numerous positive feedbacks within our community, from local corporations and athletes to advanced and amateur runners that have shown a great interest in becoming part of this great project by participating as volunteers, partners and members of our team.
For safety reasons our extraordinary athletes are in need of special or custom wheelchairs to keep participating in these running events, but their cost is unreachable for most of them, without proper insurance or financial support it’s very challenging to acquire them. As a new organization with insufficient funds, we are currently unable to provide the appropriate wheelchairs for our members to continuously participate in the scheduled events in our yearly agenda.
Since our initial event, we have enlisted several special needs athletes with extraordinary abilities including amputee athletes, kids in wheelchairs who love sports and others members that had improved their skills using sport as part of their therapies for a better lifestyle.
Please join us and help to support our mission and our goal to collect funds for the further purchase of these special and much needed new wheelchairs!
