Want to join me in making a difference? The Board of Directors of the Silicon Valley Portuguese Education and Culture Foundation  and any donation will help make an impact.
The SVPECF supports the teaching of the Portuguese language at San Jose State University. We are also in the process of giving scholarships to  students that are Minoring in Portuguese, as well as sponsoring cultural events in the region. 
Portuguese is the sixth most spoken language in the world thus creating a great need for Portuguese speakers globally.   Also, at the regional level maintaining the Portuguese  is critical to maintain the culture and richness of Portuguese language speaking people. 
The SVPECF annual budget is spent on classroom support ($6000.00), scholarships ($100.00+), community events. and new student recruitment. These numbers vary by year depending on the number of students enrolled in Portuguese classes.
We need your support as soon as possible to cover keep Portuguese alive at SJSU.
