This is the first full-length play written by Megan Jeannette Smith. It was accepted into the NY Theatre Summerfest at the Hudson Guild and will premiere in September 2019.
The play tells the story of Natalie, a woman in her 30's living in NYC, wandering from relationship to relationship. As she unexpectedly gets pregnant, her dreams grow more and more intense as illustrated by two silent movie era performers. The play includes LGBTQ relationships and brings up reproductive rights and health.
At the helm, we have the award winning director, Lola Lopez Guardone bringing this text to the stage with a very talented group of actors:
Jonathan Salazar / Sucia Queen
And our very crafty crew:
Stage Manager: Kelly Teaford
Production Designer: McKenna Perry
Projections: Brian Pacelli
The money we raise here will go directly to the production to pay for rehearsal space and material costs.
