VETERANS PARK IMPROVEMENTS

By now I hope everyone has been to Veterans Park, or at the very least have seen it from the highway or DG parking lot. We have had a lot of very generous donations (there is a pavilion coming very soon paid for by one donor!) We would love to put this new 4'x6.5' sign up at the entrance to the park. Wouldn't it be great to have this up by Veterans day? The manufacturer very generously discounted the price of the sign by 25%, because it is for the Veterans. There are 600 households in Cerro Gordo, if every household could contribute just $3.25, we can make this happen! If the donations go over the required amount, any excess will be used for the park at well. Next on our list are park benches around the walkway.
