Sigma Nu Gamma Kappa Hurricane Helene Relief Fund
Donation protected
Brothers, friends, family, and supporters,
This fall, the brothers of the Sigma Nu Gamma Kappa Chapter in Boulder, Colorado have decided to raise money to help those affected by Hurricane Helene. Despite the physical distance that separates Gamma Kappa from the impacts of the storm, its catastrophic effects have touched the lives of several brothers, alumni, and friends.
All donations will be divided evenly and sent directly to the American Red Cross, BeLoved Asheville, and Hospitality House of North-West North Carolina on their websites. The American Red Cross is a nationally recognized volunteer organization that provides disaster relief, training, and emergency assistance to affected areas. BeLoved Asheville is a non-profit working to supply food, water, healthcare, and housing to Asheville residents. Finally, Hospitality House of North-West NC is providing housing to unhoused individuals in Boone, NC. Below are links to their websites:
In this troubling time, we hope our efforts will help ease the burden on areas experiencing the destruction caused by Helene. We thank you for considering donating to our fund, or donating directly on each charity’s website. If you have any questions, please contact Colin Reed, who will be managing the funds.
Kindest regards,
The Brothers of Sigma Nu Gamma Kappa
