Sierra’s Hospital & Recovery Fund

Hey everyone, Sierra is a sweet sweet girl. She is in the 8th grade and has so much going for her. She is a Coach/Mentor for the 6th grade students in her school, Richard Warren Middle School. She is also a manager for the volleyball team.

Saturday 9/15, Sierra had an accident while helping her dad and sister move a deck/porch. 

She was crushed under a part of our deck that was cut down and being moved. They were moving half of the cut deck & it started to tip over. She wasn’t able to get out of the way fast enough. It hit her back and she fell on the ground all the while it crushed her pelvic area and ankles. Dad was able to hold it up long enough for her sister to pull Sierra out from under.

Doctors said that she has a fracture on her lower bottom of her tail bone. Which the doctor said it’s uncommon and very rare to see. They are meeting with other doctors to see what is the best possible way to go about her situation. She is currently in pain & immobile from the waist down but can still move her toes. She has a numb feeling in her legs. Her pain level is going up and down only because of the pain meds they are giving her.

This fundraiser is to help with hospital bills (after insurance) and recovery after surgery.
