Sierra Liverett's mission to Kenya

My name is Sierra Liverett. I am an 8th grader at Pagosa Springs Middle School, and  a member of Grace in Pagosa Church.

Last year my parents took me on a mission trip to Mexico, and since then I have had the desire to experience that again. 

This July, I am going on a mission trip to Africa in support of Houses With Hope.  I will be going with a group of people from Pagosa Springs to serve the people of Africa and build houses for widows in Kisumu, Kenya, as well as provide care and show God's love to children in the community. On this trip, we will build 3-4 houses, that are used by widows and also provide a home for orphans. Overall, this mission trip costs roughly $3,000. This includes airfare, food, housing, transportation, and money for supplies to build the houses and care for widows and orphans in Kisumu, Kenya.

I am sure I do not know all that God has in store for this trip, but I am prayerfully anticipating it!
