Sierra - Fire Relief - Paradise CA

On the afternoon of 8 November, something life-changing occurred. One of our very own, Sierra (Deborah Rees), a longstanding and much-loved moderator and administrator of the Project Avalon Forum, lost absolutely everything she had to the California Paradise Fire.

She escaped with her husband, her life, the clothes on her back, and one of her two cats.

The shoes on her feet are now the only pair of shoes she owns.

But we can ACT to help. As you read this, she needs our support right now.

One dollar, two dollars, three... more?? Folks, please dive in. One of our family now has to restart her whole life.

This will help with housing, clothes, transport, and food. The fund will create a space of safety so she can make a new beginning, Here and Now.

Sierra escaped with one of her beloved cats. But she very much fears she lost her other friend Martha in the fire.  It spread so fast, she was unable to find her before she and her husband had to flee to save their own lives. 


This photo was taken by Sierra just as she left. It's as black as night, but it's actually daytime. This is what the apocalypse might look like.
