I don’t know how to say this without breaking, but we are asking for prayers—because right now, it feels like everything we’ve built is being taken from us.

Our farm is under water. Not just a little flooding… it’s everywhere. The land, the buildings, the pieces of our lives that we’ve spent years pouring our hearts into—it’s all disappearing right in front of us. And the hardest part is realizing there’s nothing we can do to stop it.

This isn’t just a farm. This is our entire life.

It’s my sister’s dog grooming business—the one she’s sacrificed so much to build, now at risk of being washed away before it even had the chance to truly grow. It’s my brother’s dream, something he’s just begun, something he believed could finally give him a future. It’s my freeze-dried business, my garden—every early morning, every long day, every bit of hope I planted into the ground… all of it now sitting under water.

Years of work. Years of sacrifice. Gone in what feels like an instant.

And somehow, this is all happening just one year after my dad was hospitalized—when we almost lost him. We were still healing from that. Still trying to stand back up. Still trying to rebuild our lives after being knocked down so hard.

We hadn’t even fully recovered… and now this.

It feels like we’ve been hit again before we ever had the chance to catch our breath. Like everything we’ve fought so hard for is slipping through our fingers, and no matter how tightly we hold on, we can’t save it.

I’ve never felt this kind of heartbreak. This kind of helplessness.
