Please meet our new surprise intake: gorgeous mummy cat Sienna and her 5 extraordinarily adorable babies. Long story short: Tesa's Rescue was kindly asked to help 3 stray mum cats and their babies, in total 14 homeless cats. The kind person who got in touch with us was able to take all of them in her home, to keep them safe and off the streets; understandably, the situation is overwhelming for her but she's determined to help these cats with our assistance ❤️ We promised this angel on earth we would slowly but steadily make sure all the cats would be spayed, neutered and rehomed responsibly.

Thankfully, very soon after this request for help, we have found one of the families an AMAZING foster home ready to welcome them and offer them all the cuddles and love in the world. Within minutes of arriving in their foster home, Sienna started purring and made herself comfortable while her babies played and napped. Sienna is a wonderful mum to these 5 tiny souls and we have no doubt we will find them fabulous forever homes in due time.

Needless to say - as much as we adore these delightful cats - this situation has spiralled out of control because of extremely irresponsible owners who got cats, never even thought about spaying/neutering, simply abandoning them on the streets to breed continuously and be vulnerable to all sorts of dangers, it is suspected that one of the mummy cats is the mother of the other 2 mummy cats and it is also suspected that the younger mummy cats are actually teenagers. This is utterly heart breaking, extremely unethical, cruel and totally preventable by spaying/neutering your pets at the appropriate age. Thank goodness for people like this amazing kind lady who cared so much and did her very best to sort out the situation within her ability, despite nobody else paying mind to it.

Our plan is to allow this beautiful family to settle in, then take them all for their very first vet check up to make sure all is well and establish estimated ages + sexes, schedule their parasite treatments, vaccinations, microchips etc.
