Sidney's Mitzvah Project

Tax deductible

This June I will become a Bar Mitzvah (Jewish coming of age ritual for boys).  The Hebrew word for "Mitzvah" means "good deed", and I am required to perform and complete a good deed for my community.  For my Mitzvah Project, I have decided to raise money for the American Chestnut Land Trust (ACLT), a local non-profit organization in Calvert County, MD.  The ACLT's mission is to promote land conservation and to make preserved properties available to the public for educational, scientific, recreational and cultural purposes.  The ACLT is also dedicated to protecting and improving wildlife habitats.

Please support my Mitzvah Project by donating to the ACLT, so we can preserve our special natural and cultural places for the benefit of this and future generations.

In addition, please join me on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the ACLT for EARTH DAY CLEAN UP from 12 noon until 3 PM.  Please send an email to let them know you will be  attending to [email redacted].  The clean up volunteers will  meet at the north side trailhead  at 676 Double Oak Road in Prince Frederick.  All are welcome!  THANK YOU!
