Sick fathers stolen truck

In the first week of August my fathers truck was stolen from my apartment complex that he uses to get to all of his doctor appointments. About a week and a half later Tampa police department found the truck and had it towed to a tow yard. Do to him being sick in need of a liver and kidney transplant it took us about 5 days to get up to the tow yard to find out there was no key after being told there was one from the tow company. We got the vin to have a key made to pick it up the next day and get a new tag that was also stolen. Unfortunately we never made it to get a key or tag do to my father having to go to hospital and they told him he’s not leaving he was so sick. Good news they got a kidney and liver for him about a month of being in the hospital. He has now been in there for about 3 months and is making excellent progress but now the tow bill was $1800 due to him being the owner of the truck they would not let anyone else come pick up the truck. The tow company is willing to work with us and allowing us to pay the bill for the 5 days like when we went to originally get it but have to tow it back. We are asking for a little help to get my fathers truck home and ready for him for when he is released here soon so he can get to his doctor appointments. Thank you and god bless you all.
