Siberian Ice Run for Clearwater

Help Clearwater raise $20,000 and it will be matched, dollar for dollar by another $20,000!

64-year old, Alicja Barahona ran 76.2 miles over the frozen Lake Baikal in Russia for the Baikal Ice Marathon on Wednesday, March 7th. Clearwater’s Board of Directors issued a match challenge and will give $20,000 if support for Alicja’s Run reaches that amount, but we have to raise $20,000 as soon as possible. Please support Alicja Barahona’s tremendous effort on behalf of Clearwater!  All donations are delivered to Hudson River Sloop Clearwater via Go Fund Me's direct link to the organization's deposit account. Wren Longno is the Clearwater Development Director and the manager of Alicja's fundraising campaign.

Next year, Alicja will run across the 400-mile length of the entire lake. She will pull a sled, filled with survival supplies to last the approximately two weeks of her run.
