Pete Snow Medical/MS fund

Donation protected
Hi Everyone! My name is Molly and I would like to thank everyone for stopping by to hear the story of my brother Pete Snow, a tireless and dedicated musician from Cincinnati. Please check out the video. Pete has just been diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. He is 46 years old. This form of MS affects up to 15% of those diagnosed with MS. It has no relapses and no cure. Pete has been unable to work at his computer and phone/sales job in the travel industry. His fiance'  just started a new job as a waitress downtown.  Pete has some medical insurance and no money.  He contacted Greater Cincinnati Behavioral for assistance in handicap housing, as he can barely walk, or talk, as he bites his tongue.  He has excruitiating pain in his left side. His right leg feels like a peg.  They told him he made too much money in the first couple of months when he was able to work.

At this point in time he is financially insolvent. The family has already drained their resources in aiding family members in the past and the devastating effects of the recession.  His brother Reverend Stuart Snow of Dayton Ohio and his wife Leighanne Snow have taken responsibility of 2 of his children and have done a wonderful and commendable job.

Pete has played countless benifits in his music career that spanned 30 years. His music entertained folks all over from here to Missoula Montana, to San Francisco to Florida. He has toured with the Dallas Moore Band,  He is pictured in the first video with Sonny Moorman (2 time international solo blues musician) whom he played in the Allman Brothers Tribute band, "No Saints, No Saviors". Pete has played with the Rumpke Mountain Boys on many occasions.  Pete has had many bands including the Pete and Caroline Rose duo, the Conrail Saints, Laidlaw Union and many more.  He opened up for the North Mississippi Allstars on a gig in Northern Ky.
Pete has been in numerous bands and been written about in several local news articals:   http://citybeat.com/cincinnati/article-17399-music_no_saints_no_saviors.html
Right now he is getting ready for some type of Chemo starting next week, he has been recieving an introveiniuos (sp?) treatment 3-4 times a week. He is able to play sometimes, but not set up.  ( He currently has no transportation, so he is not playing out). Today is a bad day, maybe tomorrow will be better!

This money will go into a fund to pay for his moving, housing, child care, utilites, transportation to medical facilites and medical care until he gets his disability and to assist once he does get it.  Some of the funds are needed in the next couple of weeks, to get him a deposit and 1 year of rent on a small apartment near downtown on the bus line, close to the hospitals.  Their car died several months back and they don't own one right now.

This would mean so much to me. my 85 year old mother,
my siblings (many who already are disabled). We have all stretched ourselves thin. We are planning a benifit fundraiser to add to this fund with many prominent musicians, some listed above.  More on the details coming later.
