JawSplint-Degenerative Disc Disease

Hi all! I recently found out that I have Degenerative Disc Disease in the cervical region of my neck. Not only does the cause a problem for my neck, but it is severely screwing up my jaw. The alignment of my jaw is being pushed back and to the right so i do not bite down correctly. The problem with this is that it is continuously getting worse until I can make it better. As my jaw is being pushed around, it is also hitting the bones in my ear which causes excrutiating pain in my ears, radiating down through my jaw.
The procedure that my TMJ specialist wants to provide is listed in the bill that was given to me. The Orthopedic Application will be placed permanently on my bottom teeth for 4-5 months to help the alignment of my jaw and to bring it forward. Doing this will help keep my jaw from pressing on my ears. Also during this time he would like me to maintain regular Physical Therapy appointments to help straighten out my spine. On top of that, Electromyography will be done to help the spasming from occuring. At each exam I go to, I will also have to be given injections in my neck as nerve blocks for the pain- which is quite frightening to me, but I know this will help the recovery process.
At the end of the 5 months of wearing the Jaw Splint, I am also supposed to get braces as well- which I do not know the cost of yet but are usually arounf $4k due to my insurance not covering orthodontics.
