Grandma Shug's Funeral

Hey, I'm DeVion Harris Alma's 15 year old Great Grandson. I actually didn't want to have to do this. My Nana was a Queen. She was a great role model for a lot of women and even me sometimes. My Nana was supposed to start Dialysis. When they inserted the port the doctors told her they'd start soon they just wanted to give it time to heal. A few weeks later we started to notice the swelling wasn't going down and there was a little discoloration. We called the ambulance just to be sure she was fine. She begged and pleaded not to go to the hospital but we knew something was wrong. Her arm was infected but they drained the infection and the were going to a simple procedure and move the port from her right arm to her neck. But before any of this could happen her health took a turn for the worst. The doctors lost her 3 time but they brought her back. They wanted to make sure she was ok to do the procedure before the put her under anesthesia. My Nana had 4 heart attacks in two and a half days. And in the mist of all this one of the other doctors said that "He waited to long to do her dialysis" so her kidney's went from bad to not functioning at all. The crazy part about that she kept fighting and fighting. The doctors also had to put a ventilator in to keep her breathing. The lead doc said that they'd leave it in for 2 days... He felt like she was doing good enough in one day. They took the ventilator out and then she coded which made them have to put it right back in and all she kept saying was "My Throat... My Throat" She was in so much pain and the tears in her eyes the night before she passed showed it. We need help paying for her funeral. They're saying its $8,000 but we can make due whatever you can give whether its $1 or $20. We need your help!! Please even sharing this post helps!! Please share! I pray that God blesses you all!
