Show us (US) is an organization aimed at African American youth, helping them to see people who are like them (African American) in positions that they may not normally see them at. Currently we are trying to raise money in order to rent out theaters to have children see Black Panther and A Wrinkle in TIme. We are trying to have these screenings in March and April.
All money from this gofundme will go to renting out theaters, as well as any extra money will go towards popcorn and drinks for the kids.

Black Panther A film with an all-black cast, black director and black superhero. Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Forrest Whitaker and “Get Out” star Daniel Kaluuya are just a few of the names of the first all-black film based on comic book characters from a major studio. In the film, T’Challa, who was introduced to Marvel audiences in “Captain America: Civil War,” seeks to protect his people from evil forces led by Erik “Killmonger” Stevens. Director Ryan Coogler. A Wrinkle in Time Ava DuVernay will become the first black woman to direct a live-action film with a budget of over $100 million. In “A Wrinkle in Time” the film tells the story of a young girl who time-hops in the efforts to save her astrophysicist father being held captive on a distant planet. The diverse cast includes Oprah Winfrey, Storm Reid, Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Michael Pena and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. In theaters March 3rd.
