Showtime Dance Academy

Showtime Dance has been sharing the JOY of dance with Orange County children since 2001. Our mission is to provide top-quality, non-competition, family-friendly, and age-appropriate dance training in a positive, supportive environment. Thus far, we have solely operated as a mobile company, bringing dance classes directly to schools throughout Orange County.

We would like to expand our outreach to include more of the Orange County community by opening a studio location in the centrally located, artistic, and historic area of Downtown Santa Ana. We have found a large, beautifully updated space in a brick building built in 1910, but the start-up costs are incredibly high, including 3 months rent up-front, as well as the costs of renovations and purchasing sound equipment, barres, and mirrors.

This will be a welcoming, inclusive studio where anyone can receive excellent dance training, in a positive, loving environment, regardless of age, race, religion, gender, size, or ability. Showtime Dance Academy will focus on classical ballet technique instead of on winning dance competitions, and children will be encouraged to retain their youthful innocence while experiencing that joy that dance should bring.
