Imagine being diagnosed with cervical cancer and being told your tumor is the size of a grapefruit. You have two young children and a loving husband. You undergo chemo and it shrinks the tumor but doesn't get rid of it. They tell you there is not much more they can do. Now your insides are a mess and you are in excruciating pain from organ function. You do everything you can, eating and living healthy, researching everything, undergoing immune therapy, support groups. You think things are looking up until you start having horrible pain in your ankle only to find out the cancer has made it's way there and caused a hole through the bone. Not long after you are hospitalized and remain there to this day so they can help manage your pain and try to get your organs functioning properly. This has been and is Rosalie's reality right now. She is 39 years old. Jason has been staying with her at the hospital every night and by her side as much as he can, but he has to work to provide. Let's come together and give them the little relief we can right now and help take that financial burden off of their shoulders so they can focus on the important tasks of healing and family. I've never met such a strong, funny, independent, positive person as Rosalie. She is a bright light that should be admired.
