I am a teacher in Denver who works with high need and low socioeconomic students at an alternative school. I am trying to raise funds for a celebration of our students who volunteer their time in Student Council and the community. The idea is to surprise them with individual presents and a celebratory dinner to show them they matter. Most of these kids have never heard a thank you or that they matter and I want to make that happen.
