Chris Steele has always shown up for others.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

Chris is facing triple bypass surgery and a long recovery. Since he makes his living through physical work at Steele Roofing and Construction, he will be away from work while he heals.

Through his business and his volunteer work with Keokuk Cares, Chris has helped neighbors using his time, equipment, and even his own money, without asking for attention or recognition.

It took a little convincing to get Chris’s blessing for this fundraiser. He is not one to make things about himself, but many people have asked how they can support him during his recovery.

This fundraiser is a way for friends, customers, and community members to stand with Chris and help ease the financial stress of medical bills, living expenses, and lost income during recovery.

No one is expected to give, but anyone who wants to support Chris can do so here.
