Show support for Elijahs family

This is 15 year old Elijah Smith and his younger brother Luke.  Elijah was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, on September 24th 2016. This is a day that will never be forgotten. Since then Eli has been fighting a hard fight. After several surgeries to remove the cancer, several infections, and several hospital stays Eli had to have a left above knee amputation. His next step was to have chemo and radiation treatments which ended in July of 2017. Eli went for a scan with hopes to be cancer-free but the results were not what he hoped for. Eli has two spots on his left lung which have been removed surgically. Unfortunately, now Eli has another spot on his right lung which is more complicated to remove. Eli has a special event at the beginning of October. He has been chosen for an event that he is thrilled about.  After the event he, his family, and doctors will decide what the next step will be for treatments. Shortly after Eli was diagnosed, Mom, Danielle became extremely ill. She needed medical attention for several months. Danielle needed to be out of work to become healthy for herself let alone to continue to care for her son and family. The family is struggling financially. Yes they do have insurance to cover most medical costs but with that comes out-of-pocket costs as well as travel expenses, food expenses, and overnight stays in hotels.
