Mike Dew from Lyon, MS, born September 7, 1955, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Dew. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Randy Avant; his sister, Gloria Steele; and two brothers, Wayne and Danny Dew.

Mike never met a stranger. He was a kind soul to everyone he met. He always greeted you with a smile, a pat on the back, or a hug.

He retired from Lehman Roberts and also volunteered at the sheriff's department. Most recently, he has been working security at Stones Wholesale and Auction in Lyon, Mississippi, where everybody absolutely loved him. From all of us and the auction family and friends, we will miss you every day.

We are trying to help his family come up with the funeral cost since this happened unexpectedly. They were not prepared, as most people are not, and they need everybody’s generous donations so that they can give Mike the sendoff that he deserves. Every amount helps and is greatly appreciated, and all donations are going to his brother-in-law, Randy Avant, who has been by his side to pay for the expenses.
