Shoshana's Gender Affirming Healthcare Fund

It's time for me to participate in the great American trans tradition of crowdfunding my medical care. Finding access to competent trans healthcare in rural Appalachia means making a lot of trips to other places. I get some of my care in Atlanta, and most of it in Oregon. The cost of this medical tourism is extraordinarily high--much too high for my part-time farmer wages.

I need help paying for travel to receive big-ticket care (e.g. surgeries) and to cover lodging and living expenses while I'm spending time in Oregon a few times a year, away from my job and unable to work.

I also need help paying for all the intermittent care in North Carolina that my insurance won't cover in this state (blood work, medication, etc.) as well as trips to Atlanta for the things I can't access locally.
