My name is Jesse Gomez aka "The Chicano Knox" host of Bibletheory Podcast & PCA church member in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA.

I am a father of five beautiful children & married to a beautiful wife & have a background in financial banking & sales for over ten years. I have walked with the Lord since 2006 & worked part time since 2020 creating Christian content online. Doing podcasting has allowed me to expand my knowledge about my Lord & Savior ten fold, it has widen my perspectives about the church & grounded me even more in the reformed faith.

Last year, I did an interview with Jim Fitzgerald a PCA Evangelist who has many years of experience with the church in Egypt, where he is currently a full-time evangelist and builder of the local church through EPI (Equipping Pastors International).

Before attending my current PCA church here in the Springs, I attended another PCA church across town where I was introduced to a great teacher (Dr. Dominic Aquila) who planted that very church. I quickly discovered that Dr. Aquila also goes to Egypt and has been going for many years helping build up the church over there alongside Jim Fitzgerald. "What a small world" I said to myself. I brought it up to one of my elders who also helps in Egypt about my discovery of what God is doing in Egypt.

I knew after all this, that I wanted to go to Egypt and Volunteer & help build up the church over there. After praying for a year about this trip, I have been encouraged by my elders to go & volunteer. I believe this short-term missions trip will be essential for my faith personally, it will also help me springboard into my educational studies in theology. This trip will also serve to help me confirm if becoming a missionary is my calling? Bottom line, I am determine to go to Egypt & praying everyday alongside with my family & elders requesting the Lord to be with me on this trip.
