<div>In the year ending March 2024 There were over 3,200 knife or offensive weapon offences committed by children.

<div>This represents a substantial increase by 56% of teenage homicides involving a blade compared to the years 2013-2014.
</div>

<div>In the same period (2023-2024) 262 Homicides Involving a sharp instrument were recorded across all ages.
</div>

</div>
<div>Male victims were more likely to be stabbed to death (50%) compared to female victims (35%).
</div>
