Short Film - Last Days

Hey guys its Elisa Fowler, as you all know I moved to Los Angeles this past year to pursue my love for filmmaking and get my second degree. I passed my first semester of film school with a 3.72 GPA and filmed 4 different visual short films (watch here: https://www.youtube.com/elisafowler)
within my first semester that were pretty good for my first round of shorts, but there is always room for improvement. During the first semester I struggled a lot with the production of my films many different ways - locations, actors, money to produce them, etc.
So, I'm here today because in a few months we will be shooting our first dialogue short film for our new semester. It will not only be our first dialogue film but it will also be our FINAL semester film that we screen for our teachers/peers. This one will be running up to 10 minutes, and I really want to push myself this semester to make my shorts even better. This will be one of our bigger films we do during our 3 year program and it is a film I do want to try and put into a Film Festival. With wanting to do that comes a lot of funds that I will need to produce this short. Living 150+ miles away from home and doing what I can on a scholarship is tough, but I make it work and even if this only gets me some of my goal I will still make this short film how I want it to come out. Again, anything helps, I truly appreciate you for even taking the time out of your day to read this.
Below I will list where every dollar will go. I truly appreciate all the support I get and I wouldn't be able to do it without the help of others. I wanted to put this out here now because we will be writing our script for 10 weeks. I want to start getting production going and get a head start on booking the location and just getting things on its feet while we are continuing to perfect our scripts with our screenwriting teacher. So that when the month to shoot this comes I'm not scrambaling to find a location, money, etc.
Our shooting week with our crews are May 1-10th (two of those days will be my desired shooting days and the others will be to shoot our other crew members shorts). I've been thinking and working really hard at this idea for my short film and I see so much potential in it and can't wait to see the outcome.
Here's a brief overview of my short film idea - With only a few months to live, after stopping chemotherapy, she is determined to reconnect with her college girlfriends to say her goodbyes, but as the night goes on one thing leads to another.
MONEY DISTRIBUTION AS OF NOW.
Film Location Rental - $800-$1000 (Depending on location of rental / LA is expensive LOL)
Film Permits - $25-50 (Depending on the location of rental)
Production Design - $100
Extra Equipment Rentals - $150
Food for Crew/Actresses - $100
Film Festival Application - $50-100
