SHORT FILM FUNDRAISER : FLAB,BLAS

Good Morning/Evening,

The crew behind Jordan Peace Productions and JMC Academy, known for the (Soon to be) release of "Butchery By The Oak" are fundraising for the next project "Float Like A Butterfly, Bite Like A Snake". An action crime drama that follows a pair of mobster middlemen throughout a night of deception , betrayal and eventual demise. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Pulp fiction/Drive/The Boondock Saints, this short film creates memorable characters never seen before within Australian cinema storytelling.

Full Synopsis Below:

Butterfly and Snake are the two middlemen in a Yakuza style mob, completing "jobs" ordered to them by they're boss "Wolf". Butterfly being the remorseful type, wants to live a normal life and is owed one more job before his freedom from the criminal life is granted by Wolf. The job being for the three to meet at the city's laundromat to undergo a drug deal with a rival mobster. It becomes apparent that Snake and Butterfly's relationship has been fractured from a past event. Butterfly soon learning that Snake has a revenge plot to kill him at some point during the night, perhaps the climatic meeting of the rival member. Wolf being the one who tipped this off to Butterfly, guarantees his safety if he can stall Snake until his midnight arrival and his life from the underworld will be free. A ticking time bomb of an enthralling action drama that punctuates the mood and pulls the pin in a burst of entertainment.

The funds used from this crowd funding program will go towards the location/hiring costs as well as marketing for the project after its post production phase.
