Shorey ACL Operation Funding

Donation protected
“He’s one of our own.
He’s one of our own.
James Shorey, he’s one of our own”

As you will be aware James sadly ruptured his ACL and has had to undergo surgery at The Spire Hospital Southampton.
After investigation we discovered the operation had up to a 2 year wait via NHS and “as a club we couldn’t allow him to have that wait time” said Chris Panayi (chairman)
Surgery took place on Monday 14th February and the surgeon said “We’re delighted with how the surgery went” which is fantastic news.

James (21) has been with Brockenhurst Football Club since the age of 10, the least we could do was show our commitment funding upfront the fees. “James has loved the game since the age of 6 and despite being a Arsenal fan his heart lies with Brockenhurst” said Maxine (James mum)

We’d like to take this opportunity to ask you all for any help you could give with help towards the cost of the operation and to help James with the best rehab and recovery possible throughout this tough year ahead for him.

Fundraising events will take place throughout 2022 so please keep a close eye out on our social media platforms (Twitter @brock_fc Instagram brockenhurst_fc & Facebook Brockenhurst FC)

We wish James a successful and speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch.

And from everyone at Brockenhurst Football Club, we thank you for your support.
