Shon's Victory Over GBS

To know Shon is to love him. His smile is infectious, he seems to have a knack for having the right quip or silly joke when you need it most; and if you know anything about him, you know he absolutely adores his three children. What you may not know is Shon was groomed his whole life to be just as he is...See, my brother is a replica of our dad! Shon saw kindness, generosity, strength, and unconditional love everyday. Our dad was the ultimate role model. And where our dad, John A. Jones left off is where my dear brother picked up.
And now the man I have ALWAYS viewed as my own personal super hero is in the fight of his life...and because he comes from a family that is strong, we are all confident he will defeat this illness.
What started as numbness in hands and feet quickly grew in to the inability to use his hands and not being able to walk at all. In essence, Shon became paralyzed. On July 24, 2017, he was admitted to
Long Beach Memorial for GBS--Gillian Barre Syndrome (trust me, just Google it). He has been there ever since. His recovery will be slow, but Shon is up for the challenge, Though initially admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, he presently is in the acute rehabilitation therapy wing at LBM, and his recovery can be swift or may take up to 6 months to a year.
So many have asked how can they assist Shon in some way. Perhaps this gofundme page will help.
To be honest, I have never created a gofundme page before. If it's not worded correctly or I inadvertently forgot something, charge it to my head and not my heart. As an added bonus though, Shon gave me strict instructions NOT to add any INCRIMINATING. EMBARRASSING PHOTOS. But a little sister has to have a little fun, right? I'm sure you can spot a few that will make you laugh (and probably one or two that will make your down and out howl!)
