Shoalhaven Bushfire Relief

We are starting this campaign to raise money for the victims who have been affected by the Currowan Fire on the South Coast of NSW. The funds raised will be donated to the Shoalhaven Mayoral Relief Fund, which then will be distributed to the people affected by the fires and everyone involved.
Given the destruction of this season's fires, it is making international headlines. Over 4 million hectares and growing, homes have been burnt over, peoples lives have been taken and millions of animals are now gone.
We are asking that our friends, family, colleagues, strangers, and anyone who is wishing to help, please donate to this campaign. As well as share this with your friends and family.
This is an easy way to donate even the cost of your Tim Hortons coffee each morning, without having to go through international bank accounts or wiring systems.
The Shoalhaven region holds a very special place in our hearts as we lived in Mollymook during our year abroad. Many of our friends have been affected by these devastating fires.
A close friend has lost his home, others are fighting hard to protect theirs. Another friend is expecting to deliver her baby in the middle of this choas and many others are planning their evacuation routes.
As a wildland firefighter in Ontario, I can understand the destruction that these fires cause. I truly wish I were able to support in person with these fires, however that may not be possible. So this is the best thing we could think of to help the many in need.
